2024 Yarn
The very first batch of yarn from our flock of Finnsheep! This yarn was made from the fleeces of six members of our flock. They are Kili, Fili, Clove, Millie, Juniper, and Luna. Their fleeces were blended together in one batch to create a medium gray color. Each year’s yarn will be a blend of that year’s fleeces meaning each year’s colors will never be repeated. There are only 54 skeins available this year so make sure you get what you need for your project.
Finnsheep have a silky and lustrous fleece with a long staple length and delicate crimp. The yarn produces a soft and drapey fabric that will be perfect for shawls and sweaters.
